Some characters gain bonus moves when partnering up with other characters, such as Rocket and Groot or Iron Man and Captain America. No matter what character you choose, you'll have a light and heavy attack, as well as multiple special abilities to use.
Extra characters can also be unlocked by completing tough Infinity Rift challenges, which place you and your team in difficult combat arenas. To confuse The Black Order, Star-Lord and the other Guardians of the Galaxy scatter the stones around Earth, prompting a mad dash to collect them.
